Glyn Dewis: How to do cross lightingthursday 8 june 2017, 16:32 by Elja Trum | 443 views | 0 comments
Using cross lighting is a great technique to create beautifully lit portraits. Using this technique you light one side of the face completely and just a touch of the other side.
In this video photographer Glyn Dewis shows you how to position your lights in an easy way.
Rembrandt lighting (also mentioned in the video) is the same lighting, but with Rembrandt lighting you light your subject from a higher position. That creates the famous Rembrandt look in your image. Worth a try.
Personally I love this kind of lighting in my portraits and I use it often. It really adds depth to your portraits and it is overall a very flattering light.
