Portrait photographer and retoucher Nino Batista created this great video with 9 common retouching mistakes most amateur photographers make. I certainly made a couple of them in the past.

Here is a list of the mistakes:

1. Over Saturating Color
2. Over Sharpening
3. Haloing
4. Red fingers, hands, feet, and ears
5. Glowing Eyes
6. Fake Camera Blur (Bokeh)
7. Black or White Vignettes
8. Not Zooming in to check details
9. Blurred Skin
